Location of start and finish ?
Start and Finish are located at Parc de Cluny: 31 Avenue Oscar Rougé in Limoux.
Starting times range from 6:00 to 10:00 am and the event will close at 5:00 pm.
Where can I park ?
Gamm Vert parking lot is your best option.
Other options nearby are: the Limoux railway station, the banks of the Aude, the Allée des Marronniers.
A bit further but a short bike ride away are the Tivoli, the Tuilerie and the esplanade François Mitterrand.
Must I be present for the Grand Prizes of the draw ?
You do not have to be there, but it is better as we will not ship any prize awarded. The draw of the grand prizes is scheduled between 1:00 and 1:30 pm, when most of the participants will be at the finish line and when our sponsors are present.
Public toilets
They are located on the other side of the Avenue Oscar Rougé, at the Cyclo Club Limoux and indicated with arrows. Please use the toilets and show respect for the Parc Cluny authorized for our event by the Ville de Limoux.
Are the itineraries marked?
No, you must upload your ride on OpenRunner in the GPX format. We recommend uploading the final versions 48 hours before the start. Paper copies of the itineraries will be available.
How does the KOM work?
For the Road rides, a Strava RdT26 segment will be created.
The KOM is not accessible to e-bikes. Modalities will be explained at a later stage.
Respecting the environment
By registering for the Randonnée des Terroirs you have accepted the rules of the event and have committed to packing out everything you have taken on the course. This includes NOT TOSSING biodegradable waste in nature. Bins to sort out waste will be provided at the food stops.
The Gravel Rides
There are two distinct Gravel loops, Les Abbayes and Les Vignes. The riders of the Long Ride (Entre Ciel et Vignes 110 km) will first start on the Abbaye loop and will continue on the Vignes loop.
The riders on the intermediate length will start directly on the Vignes loop.
Loop 1 (The Abbayes) is also offered for those who want to ride a less strenuous itinerary. Food will be offered at Parc de Cluny but the sampling at Domaine Girard is not available for that loop.
Should I register online?
Definitely. You will get a 5 Euros discount if you register prior to June 10 and an additional 5 Euros if you are a French Cycling Federation license holder (not available for the <18 participants who benefit from these discounts).
You also double your chances of winning at the draw.
Is having a license an advantage?
Yes, but only if you register online prior to 21 June 2026.
What licenses offer a discount?
By registering online (only), you will benefit from a 5 Euros discount by entering code LICFFCT26T when validating your basket on the Hello Asso platform.
Acceptable licenses are from FFCT, FSGT, FFV, FFC.
You must upload your up-to-date certificate (2026) when signing up. If you do not do this, you will be asked for an additional 5 Euros to obtain your registration package.
Can I ride a different itinerary than the one I signed up for?
Yes you may do that. To help the organization with tracking, please let us know what you plan to ride when you pick up your registration package. Make sure you upload all the files of the rides you are considering 48 hours at least before the event. Note that all rides allow for some shortcuts if you are having a bad day.
Are the rides tough?
The rides are not that difficult for a rider with training but they require effort as there is no escaping going uphill in our area. For those familiar with our other event, they are not as tough as the ones we program for the Cyclo Montagnarde en Pyrénées Audoise.
That being said, the extreme ride on the road will require 5 to 7 hours in the saddle (135 km 1750 D+). The long Gravel ride is the toughest ( 110 km and 2000 m D+) and will require 6 to 8 hours in the saddle. It is not recommended for average riders.
Bear in mind that you will be riding at the end of June and that heat may be a factor. Do not overestimate your capacity and choose an easier ride if you are not feeling up to it.
Are there thresholds and time limits?
For the long rides on the road, you must leave prior to 9:00 am and for the long Gravel ride prior to 8:00 am.
For the intermediate rides you must leave before 10:00 am.
For the short ride, the last start time is 11:00 am. Bear in mind that you will be riding in late June and that the heat may be a factor later in the day.
Cutoffs time may be added to ensure you finish your ride by 5:00 pm.
Please note that most of the festive events will be around 1:00-2:00 pm.
The event will close at 5:00 pm.
What are the Grand Prizes of the draw. ?
The prizes will be drawn at the Parc de Cluny between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. We will advertise the prizes shortly.
